SHILLONG, Aug 13: Superintendant of Police Pyrkhatlang Suchiang has been conferred with Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation for the year 2022.
Constituted in 2018 with an objective to promote high professional standards of investigation of crime and to recognise ‘Excellence in Investigation’, the medal for the year 2022 was conferred upon 151 police personnel.
Among the recipients of the medal, 15 are from CBI, 11 from Maharashtra Police, 10 each from Madhya Pradesh Police and Uttar Pradesh Police, eight each are from Kerala Police, Rajasthan Police and West Bengal Police, and the remaining from other states/UTs/organisations.
The recipients also include twenty eight women police officials.
