Shillong, Sep 18: Meghalaya police aspirants will stage a sit-in on Monday in protest against the non-declaration of results.
The candidates, who had applied for various posts in the Meghalaya police department since 2019, will stage the protest near the office of the Meghalaya Board of School of Education (MBoSE) here.
The physical efficiency test was conducted in November 2021 but the result for the written test conducted in February this year is yet to be declared, the police aspirants rued.
“We had met Home Minister Lahkmen Rymbui and apprised him on the delay in declaration of results, but we were told that the delay is due to the roster system,” the candidates said. (UNI)
