Police foil city theft attempt

SHILLONG, Sep 21: Police have foiled a theft bid in city. A team of Nongmensong Outpost intercepted one local taxi (ML 05E 6607) suspected to be carrying stolen materials.
Police said the taxi was found carrying four vehicle batteries which were stolen from vehicles parked at Last Stop Laban.
