Man gets five years over sexual assault

NONGSTOIN, Sep 23: The Court of the Special Judge, POCSO, in West Khasi Hills has convicted one Alvin Nongrum of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old and a 10-year-old, at his residence in 2017.
Nongrum has been awarded five years of imprisonment with a fine of Rs 15,000.
In default of payment of fine, Nongrum has to further undergo three more months of imprisonment.
