Curtain comes down on city programme

SHILLONG, Oct 1: The three-day ‘Winds of Change’ programme of the TMC Students’ Union concluded here on Saturday with young minds of the state partaking in a debate competition.
The debate competition was won by Raid Laban College, followed by Synod College and Shillong Law College, which secured second and third positions respectively.
Meanwhile, TMC MLA Miani Shira said that an initiative like this will result in positive changes among the students in particular and the youths in general.
It may be mentioned that in the first two days of the programme, various activities such as Tug of War, Table Tennis, Fashion show, Singing, etc, were organised.
