Gideon named match observer for India-SA T20I match

SHILLONG, Oct 2: In a rare achievement for the state Gideon Kharkongor, honorary secretary of the Meghalaya Cricket Association, has been appointed as a match observer for the 3rd T20 International between India and South Africa at the Holkar Stadium at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
This was informed in a press statement issued by BCCI Secretary Jay Shah after a meeting with senior representatives of affiliated North East Cricket associations in Guwahati on Saturday. The match will be played on Tuesday.
Match observers prepare official reports regarding the venues, umpires, players, etc.
