MoU
Shillong College has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the PRIME Startup Hub to set up Entrepreneurship Promotion and Development Programmes (EPDP) and Incubator.

Conference
The Shillong Obstetric and Gynaecological Society will hold the national YUVA IAGE conference in Shillong on November 11 and 12.

Launch
Chief Secretary DP Wahlang on Thursday launched the Meghalaya Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board web portal. According to a statement, the web portal aims to create a platform for the workers to avail various benefits of the board efficiently through online mode.

Symposium
Sankardev College, Shillong, will organise a symposium on ‘Party Politics and Political Participation’. A statement in this regard informed that the programme will be held at 11 am on Friday at the college auditorium and will be attended by representatives of various political parties of Meghalaya.

Lok Adalat
The District Legal Services Authority, Ri-Bhoi, will organise National Lok Adalat on all types of cases at the Office of the District & Session Court, Ri-Bhoi, from 10 am on November 12.

Programme
The Garo Hills Catholic Union will celebrate its golden jubilee from November 4 to 6 at St Dominic Savio Church in Garobadha near Tura. According to organisers, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and Shillong Archbishop Victor Lyngdoh will attend the inaugural programme as the chief guest and the guest of honour respectively.
