SHILLONG, Nov 8: Two houses were gutted and one person sustained burn injuries after fire broke out in one of the localities in Nongmensong in early hours of Tuesday.
While the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, it has been informed that two families have incurred huge losses.
Local MLA AL Hek also rushed to the spot in the morning and assured assistance to the affected families.
