Inspection
The Deputy Director of Supply, West Garo Hills, has informed the LPG consumers that a task force of trained mechanics will visit the houses of every LPG consumer and inspect gas cylinders and other appliances in both urban and rural areas in the district as well as provide safety aspects of their uses.

Unclaimed body
The Joint Director of Health Services (SS), Shillong Civil Hospital, has informed that an unknown male patient (55) was admitted in the ICU, Bed No. 4 on November 5. He, however, passed away on November 12. In this regard, all concerned have been asked to collect the body from the hospital morgue immediately, failing which it will be sent for disposal by the Shillong Municipal Board.
