Meghalaya thrashed by J&K

SHILLONG, Nov 20: Meghalaya were handed a defeat by an innings and 38 runs against Jammu and Kashmir inside two days in the U-19 Cooch Behar Trophy in Mangaldai, Assam. Meghalaya had dismissed J&K for 296 yesterday and then reached 63/2 at stumps.
However, on Sunday, they were bowled out for 114 after being bundled for 144 in their first innings after they were made to follow-on. The start yesterday was thanks to Mrinal Das’ 40.
Made to follow-on, the second innings was also difficult for Meghalaya. Avinash Rai was unbeaten on 48, with seven fours and a six.
