1200 certificates awarded to computer, language students

SHILLONG, Nov 29: As many as 1201 certificates were awarded to meritorious students of Computer and Language trainees, who underwent a programme with Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre.
The certificate distribution programme as held for the 97th batch of computer trainees and the 37th batch of language students of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre on Tuesday.
Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong, trains about 6000 youths a year in Computer subjects, spread over five sessions. The present convocation was for trainees of the September to November 2022 session, the 97th batch of trainees, comprising about 1350 youths from different parts of the Northeastern states.
The students who topped the academics were Computer: Sandashisha Lyngdoh (Beginner), Pranteek Bhattacharjee (Intermediate); Tally-I: Nakisaka Shangpliang; Tally-II: Meba-ai-Shisha Syiem; DTP: Ladianghun Marbaniang; Web Designing & PC Maintenance: Nika Delecta Lyngdoh Nongbsap; Database: Swarzina Swargiary; Cloud computing and Python: Sabyasachi Paul Purkayastha. Toppers were awarded with mementoes and two expert-level students with computer gifts.
East Shillong MLA Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh was the chief guest of the occasion.
