Govt calls tender for multi-level car parking facility in city

SHILLONG, Dec 10: In a bid to augment parking infrastructure in Shillong, which is plagued by paucity of parking spaces, the state government has invited tender for construction of a multi-level car parking facility at Mawkhar as part of the Smart City project.
The Shillong Smart City Limited invited the tender for the development of office-cum-Automated Multi-Level Car Park (on DBOT basis) at Mawkhar, Shillong, under Shillong Smart City Mission.
The estimated cost of the proposed project is Rs 20.30 crore, which is expected to take 24 months to complete.
