Excise raid
In a bid to shun illicit liquor, illegal sale of IMFL, beer, wine etc., the Excise staff conducted raids in restaurants and stalls in Shillong and its outskirts during the month of November and detected 13 cases with a seizure of 43.70 litres of illicitly distilled liquor and 23.24 litres of IMFL. In this connection, 11 persons have been arrested under the Excise Act
