SHILLONG, Dec 26: A book titled Ki Dak Ka Hima Khasi Ba La Jahnoh, written by Daniel Stone Lyngdoh, a Supreme Court lawyer, was released by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Eastern West Khasi Alertson Nongbri at a programme where he was the chief guest, on Monday.

Guest of honour Raphael Warjri, renowned artist of the state from Riti Academy, lauded the research put in by the author in recollecting the past of the lost Khasi kingdom.
The book launch programme was held in Mawhiang, Mawkyllei, which falls under Ri Khasi Lyngdoh Nonglait, which is said to be the capital of the lost Khasi kingdom.
