SHILLONG, Jan 11: Union Minister of State (MoS) for Electronics & Information Technology and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Rajeev Chandrasekhar will be on a two-day visit to the state capital from Thursday.
According to a statement, Chandrasekhar, on the first day of his visit, will meet the members of the local business community and discuss various prospects and challenges.
The Union MoS will also visit the skill development centre operated by the Ramakrishna Mission (RKM).
“He will then hold meetings with state party president, office-bearers, senior party leaders and karyakartas of the state. The minister will later meet social workers and discuss the local issues and problems,” the statement said.
The MoS on Friday will address a gathering of women at Mawprem and then visit the Church of North India.
He will also hold discussions on the skill development programmes being undertaken in the state.
