SHILLONG, Jan 16: Noted city businessman Jiwat Vaswani has filed a police complaint against one Manish Pansari for allegedly causing disturbance by carrying out a renovation in the latter’s apartment.
According to the complainant, who resides in the first floor of the Jhunjhunwala Residence in Bivar Road, Pansari, who resides in the second floor of the same building, has involved a team for renovation of his engagement by making use of noisy and heavy machinery.
“Understanding what they are doing is breaking and modifying structural changes without necessarily taking permissions, which is already unacceptable but I believe that Mr Manish Pansari’s repeated actions, even after explaining my plight of being a heart patient, continue to disrupt our routine daily activities,” Vaswani said in his complaint.
The complainant also said that this is not the first time he has been subjected to such trouble.
“I have had to endure months of noise from Mr Manish Pansari’s renovation earlier this year without making any official complaint,” Vaswani said.
