Meghalaya Assembly election to be held on Feb 27

Guwahati, Jan 18: Election Commission of India (ECI) today announced that Assembly Election will be held in Meghalaya and Nagaland on February 27 next and the same will be held in Tripura on February 16.

Counting of votes in all these NE states will be held on March 2.  It was announced by the Chief Election Commissioner, Rajiv Kumar in New Delhi today.

The term of the present Assembly in Meghalaya will expire on March 15 and it will be on March 12 in Nagaland and March 22 in Tripura.
