SHILLONG, Feb 4: NPP candidate from North Shillong Ransom Sutnga has said that there is no anti-incumbency against the party.
Speaking to media persons after filing his nomination here, Sutnga, however, said there may be anti-incumbency against MDA since the coalition comprises different political parties and not NPP alone.
Taking a jibe at UDP’s complaint against a sanction order for various developmental works under the Chief Minister Special Development Fund in North Shillong constituency, Sutnga said “some” are allergic to development.
He also said that the BJP wave in the constituency is moderate now unlike the 2018 Assembly elections.
