SHILLONG, Feb 5: In the match between Slog warriors and Metalica, Slog warriors won the toss and chose to bat first putting up a total of 148/7 in their 20 overs. Batsmen Subhakar Turaha scored 32 off 33 balls, while Suraj Turaha scored28 in 35 balls. Rahul Barua bowled 4 overs gave away24 runs and took 3 wickets. In reply Metalica scored 137/6 in 20 overs.Imran Ali scored 45 off 52 balls. Ibram Shek bowled 4 overs gave 19 runs and took 4 wickets. Slog Warriors won the match by 11 runs and IBram Shek was awarded the man of the match.
In the second match between Lumpyngad CC and Innings Star, Innings Star won the toss and chose to bat first putting up 119/9 in 20 overs. Vivek Sunar top scored with 28 runs off 31 balls. Abhay Kumar Rai bowled 4 overs gave 16 runs took 2 wickets while Raja Kumar Balmiki bowled 2 overs gave 13 runs took 2 wickets.In reply Lumpyngad chased down the score in 15.4 overs scoring 120/4. Raja Kumar Balmiki top scored with 27 runs in 20 balls. Lukhu K Anal bowled 4 overs gave away 32 runs and took 2 wickets. Lumpyngad CC won the match by 6 wickets and Raja Kumar Balmiki was awarded the man of the match award.
