Differently-abled students from Agartala take Raj Bhavan tour

SHILLONG, Feb 8: As a part of the National Integration Project under Military Civic Action, 35 differently-abled children and four staff members of Ferrando Rehab Centre, Agartala, visited Raj Bhavan here on Wednesday.
Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor, BDR Tiwari, welcomed the visitors and extended his greetings on behalf of Governor BD Mishra, who is currently out of station. He also gave them a tour of the majestic grandeur of Raj Bhavan including its sprawling lawns.
To commemorate the visit, mementoes were also distributed to the visiting students and staff members.
The students are on a six-day tour visiting places like Silchar, Guwahati and Shillong. The tour programme is organised by the 18 Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR(E).
During their tour, the students will visit places of interests like museums, war memorials, science cities and places of tourist attraction.
