SHILLONG, March 5: In the match between Nongmynsong CC and Sputnik, the latter won the toss and chose to bat first putting up a total of 211/4 in 40 overs. Amiangshu Sen scored a brilliant 81 off 92 balls, while his teammate Sawarjeet Das scored a quick 52 off 51 deliveries. Anbish Charak was the pick of the bowlers for Sputnik taking 2 for 26 in 8 overs. Jaskirat Singh chipped in with 1 for 26 in his allotted 8 overs. In reply, Nongmynsong manged 196/8 in 40 overs. Anish Cherak’s quickfire 81 off 63 deliveries went in vain. Saurav Sharma picked up 3 for 23 in 6 while Aditya Singhania picked up 1 for 24 in 7 overs. Sputnik won the match by 15 runs and Saurav Sharma who picked up 3 wickets was awarded the man of the match.
