Police register 16 cases of poll violence in state

SHILLONG, March 10: The State Police registered a total of 16 cases of poll violence during the electioneering process.
Meghalaya DGP LR Bishnoi on Friday said 69 people were arrested in connection with the cases.
The total seizure of cash was around Rs 76-77 crore which is eight times higher than the seizure made in 2018.
