Shillong, March 16: In a shocking incident reported from Uttar Pradesh, a two month old boy died after a “fake doctor” conducted a surgery on him.

Family members of the child have alleged that the doctor is fake and has no degree in medicine. However the police have registered a case and are investigating the claims of the family. The incident took place in Etah of Uttar Pradesh.

The accused has been identified as Tilak Singh who fled the spot after conducting surgery on the infant. Excessive bleeding is said to be the cause of the death of the child.

The family members have also told police that Tilak Singh did not inform them about the death of the child. They said that the child could have been rushed to a better hospital when his condition deteriorated.

Chief Medical Officer Umesh Chandra Tripathi of Etah has ordered a probe into the incident.
