SHILLONG, March 18: As many as 80 farmers from nine villages in West Khasi Hills participated in a training programme-cum-international conference on millets at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nongshillong, on Saturday.
During the programme, a technical session was organised, which was followed by two presentations on millets on buckwheat, focussing on the various aspects of their farming and significance.
