Shillong, March 22: Amid crackdown on pro-Khalistan followers in Punjab, Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut has taken a dig at Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh.

With the hashtag #polsaagayipols, Ranaut warned Diljit Dosanjh in her Instagram stories. It is a popular meme that has gained popularity on social media after police’s crackdown on Amritpal Singh, a Khalistan sympathiser.

Kangana Ranaut wrote a stern letter to those who backed the Khalistanis. On her Instagram story, Kangana shared a tweet that was shared by a food delivery app and took a dig at Diljit.

Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram stories and wrote, “Diljit Dosanjh ji pols aagayi pols (sic).” She further said, “All those who supported Khalistanis remember next number tumhara hai, pols aa chuki hai, yeh woh waqt nahi hai jab koi bhi kuch bhi karta tha, desh ke saath gaddari ya tukde karne ki koshish ab mehengi padegi (sic).”

In the year 2020, Diljit was accused for helping the Khalistanis by Congressman Ravneet Singh Bittu of Ludhiana. “I am an Indian taxpayer who has always stood shoulder to shoulder with the country and Punjab in times of need,” Diljit had responded.

On the job front, Diljit just finished shooting for Chamkila movie. Imtiaz Ali is the director, and Parineeti Chopra also shares the screen. He will be seen in the film as Amar Singh Chamkila. He had previously worked in Jogi with Amyra Dastur.
