CM’s U-12 football tourney in EWKH

MAIRANG, March 22: The office of the District Sports Officer, West Khasi Hills District, will be conducting the Chief Minister’s Under-12 Block and District Level Open Football Tournament 2023 for boys and girls of Eastern West Khasi Hills District from April 10 onwards, which will be followed by the district-level tournament to be organised tentatively in the month of May 2023 and culminating with the state-level tournament likely to be held in the month of June.Players from Mairang and Mawthadraishan C&RD Blocks will be subjected to age screening on April 5 from 10 am onwards at Tirot Sing Memorial Hall at Mairang, and Domsohphlang Playground at Markasa. Players should not be born earlier than June 1, 2012, and not later than June 30, 2014. Players have to produce original birth certificates during the age screening tests.Detailed information in this regard may be obtained by contacting officials of the office of the District Sports Officer, West Khasi Hills District, Nongstoin at telephone numbers 94023-00795 and 80142-51242 during office hours. Entry forms will also be available at the offices of the BDOs of Mairang and Mawthadraishan Block respectively during office hours and the last date for submission of entries at the offices of the BDOs is March 31, 2023.
