CRPF dedicates renovated library to Rilbong locals

SHILLONG, March 23: The 67 Bn of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Polo Ground, has dedicated to the locals a renovated library at Rilbong, Shillong.
As part of its civic action programme, the CRPF restored the ceiling of Netaji Pathagar in Rilbong which had suffered damage over the past years.
“The CRPF unit repaired and renovated the damaged ceiling, so that the valuable resources of the library are restored,” a statement in this regard said.
Commandant-67 Battalion, CRPF, Alok Bhattacharya, while dedicating the repaired library to the people, emphasised that 67 Bn, CRPF, is always focused in serving the people of Meghalaya.
He reiterated that the restored library would serve the local residents in pursuing their literary and cultural activities in the times to come.
