Maharashtra: Man kills father-in-law after wife elopes with lover

Shillong, March 30: A man in Jalna district of Maharashtra shot dead his father-in-law after his wife eloped with her lover.

The incident took place in Sharda Nagar in Ambad. The accused is a resident of Adool in Paithan.

Police informed media that the wife of accused eloped with her alleged lover and moved to Aurangabad. Angry over this, the man went to her father-in-law’s house and entered into an argument.

Police said that the accused shot dead the victim in a fit of rage as he was carrying a weapon alongwith him. The accused is absconding and police have formed teams to arrest him.
