Shillong, April 3: On his 54th birthday, Ajay Devgn recently held a meet and greet with his fans in front of his home.

While his admirers bombarded him with gifts, love, and well wishes, the actor interacted with them. He was surprised when one of the fans attempted to hold his hand amid the celebrations, though.

On social media, a video posted by famous photographer Varinder Chawla has gone viral. Video shows the actor removing his hand when a fan unexpectedly grabbed it. Many other fans can be seen crowding around Devgn in the video taken in front of his house asking for selfies.

His bodyguards, who were attempting to control the mob, were around him. Ajay came out of his home smiling and with his hands folded. A man firmly pulled away the actor’s hand after attempting to grip it. The actor, who in the video appeared agitated, kept his cool and continued to welcome his other fans before going inside his house.

Ajay Devgn drew backlash on Instagram when the video went viral online. While some criticised his attitude as being “arrogant” and “rude,” others countered that he shouldn’t have responded that way simply because a fan touched him.

On their social media pages, Bollywood celebrities including Om Raut, Riteish Deshmukh, Rakul Preet Singh, Sanjay Dutt, and Vivek Oberoi sent Ajay their birthday greetings.
