With slight dip in infections, India records 9111 Covid cases

Shillong, April 17: India recorded 9111 cases of Coronavirus during the last 24 hours, a minuscule dip than the cases reported a day earlier.

As per the data if Union Health Ministry, 10,093 cases of Covid-19 were reported throughout the nation on Sunday for last 24 hours.

According to data from the Health Ministry, the weekly positive rate was 4.94% and the daily positivity rate was 8.40%.

The number of active cases has surpassed 60,000 and is currently at 60,313. 0.13% of all infections in the nation are represented by the number of active cases.

27 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Health Ministry, with six deaths occurring in Gujarat, four in Uttar Pradesh, three each in Rajasthan and Delhi, two in Maharashtra, one in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Himachal Pradesh, and one in each of those states’ other six states. Kerala reconciled three fatalities. The overall number of fatalities since the start of pandemic has reached 5,31,141.

6,313 persons have recovered in the past day, bringing the total number to 4,42,35,772.
