4 arrested by ANTF, heroin recovered

Nongpoh, May 2: The Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) personnel of Meghalaya Police last night recovered contraband heroin from a  local tourist vehicle that was travelling from Jorabat towards Nongpoh in Ri Bhoi district and arrested four persons  who were travelling in the vehicle, in this connection.

Besides recovering heroin worth Rs 20 lakh, the ANTF personnel also recovered 11 syringes, 4 mobile phones, cash of  Rs 15,550.
