Shillong, May 2: In the alleged Delhi excise policy fraud case, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Member Parliament (MP) Raghav Chadha’s name has also surfaced.

Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) has mentioned Chadha’s name in the second supplementary chargesheet. As per the report Raghav Chadha was present during a meeting at Manish Sisodia’s house, however he is not listed as an accused in the chargesheet.

According to the chargesheet, Raghav Chadha attended a meeting that was held at the home of Manish Sisodia, who was the deputy chief minister at the time. Additionally present were Vijay Nair, ACS Finance of the Punjab Government, Excise Commissioner Varun Roojam and officers from the Punjab Excise.

Manish Sisodia, former deputy chief minister of Delhi, is currently in jail for his suspected role in the disputed Delhi excise police case. A Delhi court on Saturday prolonged his legal custody until May 8.

His judicial remand was extended at the request of the Enforcement Directorate, which is looking into a case of alleged money laundering, and was approved by the court.

ED had arrested Sisodia on March 9. He was arrested by the CBI earlier for alleged corruption in framing and implementing the excise policy of Delhi.
