SHILLONG, May 3: Chairman of Meghalaya Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), James Sangma inspected the Umiam Industrial Estate on Wednesday to check the activity levels and identify the shortcomings that need attention.
After the inspection, the MIDC chairman said that the industrial activity seemed decent. It is evident that issues such as infrastructure, roads, electricity, and water supply require immediate attention, he said.
