BSF holds blood donation camp in WGH village

SHILLONG, May 6: As part of its Raising Day celebrations, the 100 Bn of BSF Meghalaya Frontier on Friday organised a blood donation camp at Bewagre village in West Garo Hills.
According to a statement here, the prime objective of the blood donation camp, which was organised in collaboration with Sub-division Hospital, Jengjal, and blood bank, Tura Civil Hospital, was to create awareness among people about the importance of blood donation and to encourage them to donate blood.
“The event provided an opportunity for the community to come together and support a noble cause,” the BSF said.
