ANTF seizes 10 kg marijuana

SHILLONG, May 26: A team of ANTF along with personnel of Khliehriat Police Station on Thursday intercepted a vehicle (ML-05-G-0965), proceeding from Shillong towards Khliehriat, and recovered marijuana weighing 10.8 kg.
Acting on a tip-off, a naka was set up near Moowakhu NH-6, and at around 2.30 pm, the aforesaid vehicle was signalled to stop.
A search was subsequently conducted and marijuana weighing 10.8 kg was recovered from the vehicle and subsequently confiscated.
In this connection, one Deiborlang Sutnga (32) of EJH was also apprehended.
