Raids
The Office of the East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner (Excise) conducted raids in restaurants, stalls in Shillong and its outskirts in March, and detected 16 cases, seizing 52.500 litre of illicitly distilled liquor and 14.010 litre of Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL). According to a statement here, 10 persons were also arrested in this connection.

Programme
The Directorate of Agriculture will conduct the flag-off programme of PRIME Agriculture Response Vehicles from 1:30 pm on Thursday at Meghalaya Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (MAMETI), Upper Shillong.

Campaign
The Meghalaya AIDS Control Society in collaboration with the Office of the East Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner, Office of the District Medical & Health Officer and other line departments, will conduct an integrated health campaign in East Jaintia Hills for three months from June. The health campaign will be launched on June 2 at Khliehriat West Community Hall and it will be held at Sutnga CHC on the same day.
