Teachers, students feted during city programme

SHILLONG, June 8: Higher Secondary teachers as well as students who excelled in the Higher Secondary examinations from Meghalaya were felicitated during a programme here on Thursday.
The event, Megpun 1.0, organised by the CT University, was dedicated to recognising excellence in education in Meghalaya, and was attended by more than 30 schools.
During the programme, Excellence Awards were conferred upon the top-twenty higher secondary teachers in Meghalaya for their outstanding contributions to society.
In addition, 80 students, who excelled in the Higher Secondary examinations were, presented with the Shining Star Awards for exhibiting exceptional academic performance, and demonstrating their dedication and commitment towards excellence.
During the programme, the CT University also launched an integrated degree course with IAS coaching in association with LBASNAA IAS Academy.
The degree course provides students with an in-depth knowledge of the UPSC Civil Services examination syllabus with expert faculty.
