Bengaluru: Woman kills her own mother, takes body to police station in suitcase

Shillong, June 13: In Bengaluru, a physiotherapist aged 39 has been charged with the murder of her mother following a series of ongoing disputes. After committing the crime, the woman concealed her mother’s body inside a suitcase and transported it to a local police station, as reported by the authorities.

The accused, originally from West Bengal and currently residing in a flat in Bengaluru, was apprehended after she arrived at the Mico Layout police station with the suitcase containing the victim’s remains. During questioning, the woman admitted to taking her mother’s life due to their frequent arguments, according to the police.

The authorities further revealed that the accused is married and her husband was not present at home when the incident occurred. Although the woman’s mother-in-law was in the house at the time, she remained unaware of the planning by the accused event as it unfolded within the confines of a room.
