The Pynthorumkhrah Mandal on Friday observed the 69th death anniversary of founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. On the occasion, meritorious students were felicitated with awards of appreciation. A tree plantation drive was also organised.
The Food Corporation of India (FCI), FSD Jowai, on Friday organised a showcase for students. During the programme, students were explained about the work process of the FCI, including how rice packets are stored, protected, received and released in the godown of the corporation.
