Infant found abandoned in Mukhla no more

JOWAI, June 24: An infant who was found abandoned at Krem Shohnoh, Mukhla near Ummulong CHC on June 22, passed away on Saturday afternoon at the Maternity and Child Hospital, Jowai.
After her recovery, the infant was kept under the care and protection of the District Child Protection Unit and Child Welfare Committee, West Jaintia Hills.
The Office of the District Child Protection Unit, has requested people, who may have any relation to the infant, to claim the body from Ialong civil hospital.
