Shillong, June 28: A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against Amit Malviya, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) I-T head and leader, in Bengaluru.

The case was registered in response to a tweet by Malviya regarding Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, where he referred to Gandhi as “dangerous” and accused him of playing an insidious game.

The FIR was filed based on a complaint lodged by former Congress MLA Ramesh Babu.
