The National Sample Survey Office (Field Operations Division), Regional Office, Shillong, will organise a programme to celebrate National Statistics Day at 2 pm on Thursday at Shillong College. Unclaimed body
The body of an unknown man was recovered from the MTC Jail Road outside the shop of Star Aquarium MTC Room No. 4 (R), Jail Road, leading towards Peagasus Junction on June 24 morning. Accordingly, inquest and other legal formalities were observed and the body, following autopsy, has been kept at the Shillong Civil Hospital morgue for identification and claim. According to a statement here, the deceased is approximately 25-35 years old, is approximately 165 cm tall, has swarthy complexion, medium built, lean face and black hair. He was found wearing black jumper, black semi jeans, etc. All concerned have been asked to contact 2224818 or 2222214 for identification and claim.
