Nine killed in Ahmedabad by over-speeding Jaguar car

Shillong, July 20: A devastating accident occurred on ISKCON Bridge in Ahmedabad on Thursday morning, resulting in the death of at least nine people, including a police constable. The tragedy unfolded when a speeding Jaguar car, running at 160 kmph, crashed into a group of people who had gathered at the site of a previous accident involving a Thar and a dumper.

The crowd had gathered at the accident site when the Jaguar car rammed into them, causing multiple casualties. Along with the nine fatalities, the driver of the Jaguar car also sustained injuries in the accident.

Expressing his condolences, the Chief Minister of the state offered heartfelt sympathies to the families of the deceased and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. The state government has provided Rs 4 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to those injured in the tragic incident.
