Shillong, August 10: Actor Akshay Kumar, in anticipation of his upcoming movie ‘OMG 2’, has shared a brief clip offering insights into both his character and the film’s tone.

This time, Akshay will be portraying the role of Lord Shiva, adding an air of mystery to his portrayal.

As per IANS, the clip shared on his Instagram showcases Akshay inside a police station, asserting that he will set the city ablaze unless his belongings are found. The exchange takes a humorous turn as he warns of his boundless anger, which typically takes 13 days to subside.

The scene transitions to his more imposing form as a messenger of Shiva, walking the Earth while the ‘Har Har Mahadev’ track plays in the backdrop. Pankaj Tripathi and other devotees respectfully fold their hands in reverence.

This clip subtly references the Hindu mythological event known as the ‘Shiva Tandava’, depicting Shiva’s furious cosmic dance following the death of his first wife, Sati.

‘OMG 2’ is among Bollywood’s significant releases for August, sharing the spotlight with ‘Gadar 2’.

Despite the film not being exclusively intended for adults, it received an unexpected ‘A’ certification from the Censor Board of Film Certification in India.
