Shillong, August 10: Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan received an unexpected marriage proposal from a fan during the premiere of his film ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. The event was a platform for Kartik to connect with his Australian fans and share the magic of his latest cinematic creation.

At the premiere, attendees had the opportunity to interact with Kartik and ask questions, creating memorable moments. A standout occurrence was when a girl proposed marriage to Kartik, rendering him momentarily speechless.

News agency IANS reported that the proposal unfolded in the theater where the film was being screened. The enthusiastic fan boldly asked, “I might never get a chance to ask you this question ever again but ‘will you marry me?'”

Kartik was left speechless by the unexpected proposal, and the crowd erupted into cheers and applause.

Blushing in response, Kartik humorously remarked, “Here I am, someone is asking me about a love story, and someone is proposing marriage. What’s happening? It feels like I’m in the middle of a swayamvar. Great welcome in Melbourne.”

The fan’s request for a hug was warmly accepted by Kartik, who replied, “You can get a hug.”

Expressing his excitement about being part of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, Kartik Aaryan shared, “I am truly thrilled to be a part of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.
