Journalist killed in Bihar’s Araria by unknown assailants

Shillong, August 18: Tragedy struck in Bihar’s Araria district as unidentified assailants entered the residence of journalist Bimal Yadav, who was employed by Dainik Jagran, and shot him dead early this morning.

As per India Today, the shocking incident took place in Raniganj, where four individuals opened fire, fatally hitting Yadav in the chest. He succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Following the disturbing event, an outpouring of grief and outrage reverberated at the post-mortem location. Present at the scene were law enforcement officials, including the Superintendent of Police and a local Member of Parliament, highlighting the gravity of the situation.
