TURA, Aug 25: The Office of the District School Education Officer of South West Garo Hills successfully organiszed on Friday a District Level Science Seminar with the theme “Millets: A Super Food or a Diet Fad?” The event, held at the Multi Facility Centre in Ampati, brought together students from nine schools across the district to engage in thoughtful discussions on the subject.
The seminar, which aimed to foster scientific curiosity and critical thinking among the youth, featured a series of activities including exhibitions, PPT and paper chart presentations, viva aptitude tests and written aptitude tests. The students showcased their knowledge and insights into the potential of millets as a super food and whether the current trend is just a passing diet fad.
