Shillong, August 28: The April-June period witnessed a 29% year-on-year surge in hybrid work arrangements globally, marking a decline in “remote work” and “work from home” options, according to a recent report.

As per IANS, as the world gradually reopens, hybrid working roles that allow employees to balance office and home work hours are gaining momentum, as indicated by GlobalData, a prominent data and analytics company.

Q2 saw a rise in job postings related to hybrid work, particularly in sectors like travel and tourism, retail, and financial services.

Amid efforts to align with office return protocols while offering flexibility, the interest in hybrid roles remains steady, noted Sherla Sriprada, Business Fundamentals Analyst at GlobalData.

Leading companies like Element Fleet Management, Flight Centre Travel Group, Albertsons Companies, Amazon.com, Wells Fargo & Co, and Hub International are among those offering jobs with hybrid work models, according to analysis.
