JOWAI, Aug 28: Member of Jaintia Students’ Union (JSU) have urged the district administration of East Jaintia Hills to take action against certain individuals who allegedly attempted to instigate the police personnel to thrash the mob staging a protest against a public hearing in the district recently, where violence broke out.
The JSU claimed that two persons, believed to be the staff of Topcem cement company, were caught using slangs and trying to instigate the cops in videos.
The JSU has expressed dissatisfaction with the decision to suspend the two individuals from work, and wants them to be sent outside the state to ensure that there is no conflict in the state.
