HNYM rally against unemployment resisted by police

Shillong, August 31: The Hynniewtrep National Youth Movement’s (HNYM) rally against unemployment was met with strict opposition from the police who stopped them from approaching towards the secretariat.

” We need jobs. We don’t need festivals,” read the placards of the protestors as they shouted slogans. Stopped by the police from proceeding further, the protestors continue their protest by relocating to the Mot u Kiang Nangbah point near Civil Hospital, Shillong.
